My friend was telling me about SG and I realized that I hadnt spent some time here for a while. So Im gonna try to make an effort from now onI even changed my username and photo as a new start. Ive actually been pretty busy since last August, even though Ive been flaking on going to class for the last 6 months fortunately I only have 5 hours left before getting my video certificate.
I covered the AFI film festival, which was a lot of fun as usual and saw a few shows, including Interpol and the Hives. Talking about the Hives, I was pretty amused to see that the audience at the Mouse of Blues was mostly a bunch of 14 year old kids wearing brand new Ramones T-shirts. But what else to expect from a House of Blues nestled in the heart of the Tragic Kingdom.
The end of the year wasnt that fun, except for that weekend in Vegas in December. It involved a trip to Europe for Xmas cancelled because my passport wasnt ready on time, a car accident, the flu and some other family scam bullshit. Oh yeah and Ive been partying a lot since the beginning of 2005 that was my new years resolution.
The latest DVDs I've received to review include a Bettie Page box set, which was more fun but less provocative than what I was expecting. I also got a bunch of CDs and I cant wait for my next trip to Amoeba to sell a bunch of these promos and get a big fat credit to spend right away.
I havent decided if Im gonna go to Coachella. I wanna see Bahaus, New Order, The Chemical brothers, NIN, The Bravery, etc.. but I need to see if anyone I know is going.
