Merry Christmas and Happy New Years all you SGers!
I'm on computer vacation this next week.
Be back the start of the year.

Interactive UPDATE:
I'm trying to come up with a catchy holiday saying.
What do you think?
a) Have a "Merv Griffin" Christmas!
b) Happy meat-by-product holidays!
c) Fuck your fucking christmas... fucker.
d) Have a Hobbit Jew Year!
e) It's the...

Recurring dreams:
¶ big waves coming in
This is one my most frightening and often repeating dream that goes back to when I was a kid.
I'm at the shore between the tide and cliffs behind me. It's dark. The tide is advancing and the waves are getting larger.
There's no way out from the cliff.
Variations on that are that I'm in a house...

A very Merry Xmas jasonp
I wish:
- I could fly
- you could get a big box of detergent and clean your life. It would be a large bright orange box. Cleans out emotional baggage, bad habits, bad moods, hang-ups, you name it. Everything comes out sparkling clean and fresh.
- that I lived in the rain forest as a jolly, gregarious high-ranking member of a tribe. A psychic...

you know i carry the flamingo around? I have a more lovey dovey pic i could show you. We, me & flamingo, were on the outs, but we managed to snap a few friendly reminders of the good times we used to enjoy.

being a shamen would've been rad. maybe you share some molecules with an amazonian ayuhuasca-eatin mystic or something.
Help.. I've fallen and I can't get up.
This beer will do...
Do you ever fear you just aren't frenzied enough anymore?
Sometimes there's too much/nothing to say.
Inert.
Yes it's an outrage, I know.
It cant always be stars in the sky, 777, fireworks.
You have to take into account the quiet fizzle.
The cold gray drizzle.
That reminds when I used to play...

woohoo! A 2 pager!
So I'm back now. What a story to tell...
A couple of days ago I was just minding my own business sitting on the couch. I heard a knock. I opened the door and saw a man in a uniform. It was a black boots, brown shirt kind of garb. He had mean beady eyes. He glared at me intently, then he shrieked, "You haff...

Just another day...
I woke up as the grand-nephew to a mafia chieftain.
It was just another bacon and eggs morning. Then it was shopping at the market.
We were trying to find fresh peyote buttons, or detergent.
We approached a young flared nostriled hispanic cashier.
Her face was open. Her hands were large. She said something but I was too focused on the faint...

Wow, two days of 8+ hours sleep.
What a difference. Feel a lot better.
Yes this is mundane, but it is signifcant for me.
Do you ever feel emotionally clogged up?
Do the hours of your day creep up like an invisible prison?
How do you find hope, salvation? Where is it?

somehow the act of nearly dying in water only makes the bond stronger i feel. It's like Crash only I'm not interested in actually attempting different ways of drowning myself for pleasure. not yet anyway.

8+ hours of sleep. is this a dream? it is for me!
So dog-ass tired...
Got three hours of bad sleep last night.
Looking forward to some grilled asparagus in just a few moments. Catch a little of the game tonight.
~~~
Red clay dirt, heat.
A turtle crosses a dirt road. Noisy buzzing bugs.
Sunlight punches between the leaves into the thick grass.
Flies are swatted from a face.
It is hot like summer. Sweaty face,...
Where did you travel in SE Asia aside from Thailand? I was there about a year ago, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, a bit of southern China. I really want to see India though. I thought Cambodia was the most chaotic and poor place I had ever seen, but I was told that India was stepped up several degrees from that.
ps, I love the four noble truths of Buddhism, you're right, so succinct, so perfect. I have never read a more cogent philosophy...now if it were only as simple to practice as it is to read and understand...
Anyway, hope you had a decent xmas.
