The last day of the year.... and what a year it was.

Disasters and shootings seem to happen near significant events in my life.
On the two business trips I made to Georgia and Dallas there were shootings right when I got there or right after.
When I flew back and forth from Japan back to US when I lived there there was the Kobe earthquake and an earthquake in LA.

Then there was the time I scheduled a flight to visit friends in Vanceuver. That was scheduled for 9/12/01... yeah that kind of got in the way.

I think one of my most primal fears is of a huge wave. Maybe it was a bad experience at a very young or something I don't know.
The image of a waves advancing towards a beach getting larger and advancing with the tide is the earliest and most reoccuring dream I've had.

Job update: I am going to work part-time after all, 20 hours a week, two days a week at 10 hours each. For at least January. This is good for me since I get time off and it makes a smoother transition to the next job (or long term unemployed idlenes, either way).

I think I'll be hanging low the next month or so, as I try to avoid the internet time sinkhole as much as possible.

Hope you had a nice Kwaanza and Festivus celebration!!

Happy New Year! robot

I did have chocolate milk last night... and thought of you... chocolate milk, one beer...and I was done.... the two didn't mix well.

I like the sounds of that work schedule. I'm not a huge proponent of full-time work. I think having a schedule that others set for you, kills you slowly. Bodies weren't made to be treated like that.

Happy new year, trickster ooo aaa !
