Recurring dreams:

¶ big waves coming in
This is one my most frightening and often repeating dream that goes back to when I was a kid.
I'm at the shore between the tide and cliffs behind me. It's dark. The tide is advancing and the waves are getting larger.
There's no way out from the cliff.
Variations on that are that I'm in a house or lighthouse by the shore. Sometimes I'm watch more from a distance as I see 50-foot waves come in.
Sometimes there are weird sea creatures caught in the waves.

¶ being in the backseat of a car while it drives around on it's own
This was my most recurring dream as a child, or at least the one that I can still remember the clearest.
I haven't had this kind of dream for quite a while though so I can't clearly remember much about it.

¶ the missing class / surprise test
The basic idea is that I suddenly remember that there has been a class that I was supposed to go that I had forgotten about.
I missed once or a few times, or most often it's a class that I had never even gone to at all.
It is now urgent though to get there for some kind of test, or other reason.
I don't even know where the classrom is. Sometimes I doubt if really is a class to go to.

¶ the strange city
I'm lost in a wierd foreign city. The most noticeable thing is that structures like buildings and stairways and subway tunnels are fused together.
The city itself is like some immense structure.
This is really more like a recurring setting more than anything else.

Okay it's not all bad fortuntely. I have a few good ones too.
I can't really say I've had lucid dreaming but a few times I have had some control.
Once, most vividly I was under the ocean "flying" around underwater.
I came up on to what was like an underwater city. from higher above in the water I could see the lights below like you would see from regular city when flying above it at night from an airplane.
I see the entire city as some kind of reef structure.
It's like it's all a gigantic fishtank the size of the ocean and I'm just zipping around looking at it.
There are no people involved.
