So I'm really tired right now.
I did a lot of whinging in that last entry. Too much going on at once.
That was: driving visiting people around town on Easter, other family visits on easter. Getting to work early monday to leave early for Dad's birthday. Getting up early to go with gf to naturalization ceremony, going out to dinner with gf's friends, ongoing hectic crap at work, and taxes.
Part of why I was freaking out was because astrologically the sun is opposite my natal sign, and actually a lot of wacked stuff tends to happen in April.
But like a lot of things it's always a lot easier if you dive in and don't worry about or dread anything.
So now basically I'm just very tired from lack of sleep and over activity, and I'm feeling full from all the food I've eaten the last couple of days.
I had some good experiences and learned a few things though.
Sunday was "fellini-esque" as expected. Example:
at cemetary, after day of driving around visiting relatives of my 94 year old uncle
visiting relative:in east coast jewish accent Ohh look at the sky it's beeyooteeful. What a nice day.
94 year old uncle tearing and choking up I can't wait to be right here lying beside her...
relative Ah it's just beeyootiful out!
Monday I saw my 14 month nephew eat asparagus and dance to music. It cracked my ass up to see him get down.
Today went to the naturalization ceremony with my ex-filipino gf and in a line of hundreds of people a former co-worker happened to be right behind her. So that was cool, one of those synchronistic meetings.
As of now my CA electronic tax return was not accepted and so I'll have to re-load my Uzi for another drive-by by at Intuit. They give *incorrect" instructions on how to re-file but then if you do it says you've already filed so send it by mail instead. Oh, and they then tell you to mail a check with form XYZ... after I've already mailed the check without it!
Now time for a hot shower and a half-way decent night of sleep for once.
