I've been lethargic in my journal updates.

I was just thinking about how the site has changed.
I am very old school by the way...

Those were the pre-historic days before there were journals... can you even imagine such a thing?
There were about 20 SGs at the time. Rose, DebraJean,Jetta and LEwere among them.
The only community interaction were with the boards. Back then Sean was only known as the mysterious "spooky", and it was relatively safe.
Up until that point I only would check the site about once every couple of weeks or so. I had a year-long sub.

Then there was the "O", aka "Olivia" revival in June 02 and the journals came in. That brought me in a lot more. I broke up with my GF in september 02 and so I got more into the site guilt free. Now I'm back together so it's now a guilty distraction.

For me the best period was from october to december 02. This was during the era of BoxterJulep who had very imaginative and quixotic journal entries. BionicFemme had some great real-life lesbian drama journal entries. They're both gone.
And there was the San Diego triumvirate of Bijou-lilyluv-stellastargazer, quit a power house.

Anyway, the funny thing I've noticed is that despite the big spike in membership and SGs it seems like there's actually less activity. Like it's been diluted or something.

Well I sound like an old codger talking about the good ole days now...
