so i have a story for you:

last night i went to the erotic arts festival. i bought a print. it came in a bag.

on one side of this bag was an advertisment for gay.com. one the other side it read "big gay bag" in big block letters. i desided this was the best bag ever.

my ex gave me a ride home from said festival and asked me if i had a bag that he could use as a trash bag in his car. i generously offered him my brand new 'big gay bag'. he told me that he would rather have a different bag, because my 'big gay bag' might offend people. not him, but 'people'.

now i am gay, or i used to be gay, i guess now i'm bi, but whatever. i'm not a big pride parade type girl, i'm not even out of the closet with anyone but you guys. but still...

the fact that somebody, who says he loves me, is telling me that i am offensive to his friends... i know it wasn't ment in quite that way, but... i do realise his parent and most of his friends are really religious, and probably do not like teh gay. but he's not them. it's just a trash bag. he should be able to stand up for something he believes in. and using a bag that says 'gay' on it to put trash in, isn't exactly the most dramatic statement in the world.

this whole thing has made me so upset, and i'm probably being unreasonable, but i can't help it.

i guess i always assumed that my friends were supportive of me. and i guess i extended that to standing up to people who weren't. and i don't like finding out i was wrong...

venting. thank you.

I'll be there if you need me.

Oh, and I'll take the bag if you still have it. I saw Dreammaker's and wanted one myself. smile
