you're a company that outsources widget instruction manual design to another company. that company designs a totally ugly widget instruction manual. you think oh shit that widget instruction manual is totally ugly, nobody's gonna understand how to use our widgets, next time we better do it ourselves.
should you then:
a) have your designer make a kick-ass widget instruction manual which will explain to everyone how to use your widgets and look sexy doing it, or...
b) tell your designer to copy the design of the previous totally ugly widget instruction manual, except this time make it red.
