This buzz doesn't keep us from missing her

Another week. Work is still going well. With the exception of two incredibly annoying co-workers I'm enjoying it quite a bit. People seem to think I'm doing a good job. Old ladies say nice things to me when I bring them their groceries. I like driving around the city all day.

Jody was up visiting again. I love having her around. There were some unfortunate circumstances regarding her visit (see her journal for details) but we had a pleasant time. Food was cooked. Television was watched. But now she's gone back to Calgary again and I'm sitting around my room being mopey.

I think I'll probably spend most of the evening with a drink and Microsoft Word. I don't think I'm going to finish my novel by the end of November but I've vowed to finish all 50,000 words no matter how long it takes me. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up this week. I've been busy with work and seeing my girlfriend. I don't feel bad about falling behind at all.

My hockey team continues to suck.
