The new job is going well. It's a bit more relaxed. Every time I walk from the back to put out stock I walk through the bakery. I don't think the smell of fresh baked goods will ever get old. Tomorrow I start going out for deliveries. Or at least, I'm supposed to. I spent part of today changing a spare tire on the van and I have to get it fixed first. But deliveries soon. Should be alright.

The novel hit a snag. My original idea is bugging me already and I'm finding it next to impossible to write. So it's been scrapped and I'm starting over. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to. But... tough shit. The new one will be better, faster, stronger. Besides, I wasn't far in. It'll be easy to regain lost ground. I can do longwinded.

Jody came up to visit. I'm always happier when she's around. But now she's gone back to Calgary for a while. *sigh*
