So, the trip went well. Here are a few stories.

The Family Reunion
I saw almost all of my family. Almost every member of my extended family from all parts of the country were there. It was nice to see some people I haven't seen in years. There were some small children running around. My cousins have started popping out podlings. Thankfully most of the relatives were too busy staring at my hair to ask me about having kids.

Big Valley Creation Science Museum
Oh yes. It exists. And we went. Michele, danny_g and others piled into our cars and drove out to the middle of fuck nowhere to see this abomination unto science. The musem is literally one room. There are a few lame displays and a couple of "fossils". I could rant and rave and scream for hours about how shitty this place is but you should really just go check it out yourself.

Royal Tyrrell Museum
After wandering through an hour of creation science we needed a bit of relief. Dinosaurs FTW.
