So I had a Grand Time yesterday. First I met up with twpsin and went cookbook shopping at Barbra Jo's Books for Cooks, the best Cookbook store in vancouver. The mission there was to buy The El Bulli Cookbook. What I didnt know was there was 2 El Bulli books 1994-1997 and 1998-2002 each of them cost $295cnd and my mouth droped at the price...

and thank you for making me apply to the cannery. i emailed them a resume, and took them one (with the adjustments you suggested)...chef frederic is on vacation, so he'll get it on wednesday.
i also took one to brioche, and to yaletown brewery (the sous chef used to work at steamworks, so he understood...).
