Woah, this weekend has been such a good weekend!
On Friday, I had my friend Amy and her girlfriend Niki (shown below, with Niki pulling her pizza face)

come round, and Courtney. I made a scrummy corned beef hash - and we all kind of chilled out at mine for the night.

Then Saturday - we all went into town. On the way I met Scroobius Pip in town, again. I was holding two pork pies at this time, one in each hand, so Amy ran after him to stop him for me, and I literally through the pork pies behind me so I didnt look like a fat muncher. I talked to him for a bit, trying to not sound like the avid fan I am, and play it cool (not sure how convincing I was) - anyway, I asked him if I brought my sketch book in, would he sign it for me. He said yes

Then we proceeded to go on into town where I bought my halloween costume (minus the green hair spray) I tried the outfit and the facepaint out this weekend actually ------>


Then we went for a beer at the Font - before getting ready to go to the Dan le Sac v Scroobius Pip gig at the guild.
Before the gig I sent my sketch book back stage with this organizer guy, who got Scroobius to sign my picture

and then the organizer asked me to be an ambassedour for his site (www.gigjunkie.net) - where I hand out leaflets promoting the site - and collect e-mails for the site (10 p per e-mail) in return for free gig tickets that he wants me to review and draw pictures of the band for the site - which is really cool! so like any gig i want to go to, apparantly, if I give enough notice, I get free tickets to! pretty ace like!!! - I think he said something about me going to the Hoosiers this weekend or something. Not sure on that one...

Anyway - Courtney, being the love of my life as she is, bought me a Dan le sac v Scroobius Pip neclase

The gig was freaking awsome! everyone was singing along full belt - and it was just such a great communal feeling! loved every second of it!




After the gig I managed to catch up with Dan le Sac - and got my picture taken with him

And also my shoes signed by both of the artists

On the Sunday, I made a really scrummy Thai green curry for the girls and myself - and we watched Eagle vs Shark - then Amy and Niki went back home, and Courtney stayed for another night.

Monday, me and Courtney went to the pub after my lectures

And then ate this really yummy potato, mushroom and onion hot pot type thing and sausages (one of my mum's great autumn recipes)

Then Courtney went home.

I was a bit bummed like last night. I was just sat in my room after courtney had gone..feeling a bit low - so I went to zuz's and ate garlic hot pockets and talked about boys and stuff. We both had really wierd cheese dreams after all the cheese though :S
But seriously I was bummmmed to fuck.

Oooh and for my birthday I'm having an Eagle vs Shark themed animal party On the invite, on the rsvp bit its going to say "i cant come because im a lesbian and im going to a lesbian party" if you cant go. ha. and niki said shel let us throw shoes at her head haha. And im prolly going to set up a fighting game tournetmant etc.

Anyways will sign off. So it was a pretty sound weekend, minus the bummed out-ness.
