So the f1 season is here.
At god damn last.
So i thought id post a hell of a lot af past f1 stuff and try and show you why im so obsessed.
My dad would always watch it when it was on the bbc and he recorded the highlights on video. Id watch them and love the crashes as a kid, and thats when i saw a crash of a red car hitting the tamberello barrier in 89 (the same corner that claimed senna's life in 94) the car hit the wall fell to bits and stopped. No movement from the driver. nothing then...
bang it went up big time i can still remember murry walker commentating just as the car burst into flames 'Oh! well lets stay calm...' Berger escaped with minor burns returned to racing a few weeks later. But i wanted to know more about the red car in the crash. It turned out to be a ferrari. And it all started there! ok so there was silverstone 92 and mansell mania i was about 8 and it was cool plus he was an ex ferrari driver so it was ok! But yeah not the best reason to start following a team but hey there you go!

bacelona 91. look how close the front wheels are this is at 190 for god sake!
so prost v senna in 89 they clashed at suzuka
senna carried on pitted and still won but thanks to politics and rulings senna was diqualified
handing the title to prost. 1990 this time senna won. Still angry from the previous year and feeling cheated from the fact he set pole but had to start on the dirty side of the grid. He was detirmined not to let prost win. Although the race had barely reached the 1st corner before they clashed.
senna was awesom to watch, unpredictable, emotional and damn fast! A True legend.
So im getting excited for the first time since well preseason 05. Its the only thing i look forward too these days. Birthdays have sucked since i was 17 christmas does too so for me its this and if ferrari do win (im not gonna say anything) Youll see the happiest person on this earth!
Now ive not been the best replier just lately soz ppl im gonna do it tonight/ tomorrow as i have the morning off from work.
