Hell Yeah! So yesterday I chose to forget my rejected set and partied full on! I don't do it very often, maybe 4 times a year and seeing as yesterday was
day out of time I took half an E and some pure mdma christals. The party was from 11:00 untill 23:00 and I danced-danced and danced some more, barefoot and I felt totally amazing, one with everything and perfectly contented. I needed that, what with all the shit going on with the bf. There was an after party in the bar where I DJ on saturday and I was enrolled to work behind the bar for a change. It was the first time in years that I stood behind a bar. The lights were turned right down to add to the psy-trance atmosphere and what with me trying to control my stonedness and sober up, having no idea of the prices or even where anything was....Plus the customers being full on stoned, lead to some hilarious situations I realized at about one a.m when I was coming down that I hadn't eaten anything since 12 noon, so the bf went to get me a take away, really sweet. My feet are killing me today and so are my shoulders and back from all the dancing Plus I have a sunburn too- really bad. But I am happy.
After being a goth for 10/12 years it's so nice to meet new people and hear a more positive out look on life. Dancing in the sun with a smile on your face is so much more positive than dancing in a dark cave, looking and feeling grumpy and being overly concerned about if your eyelashes are still stuck in the right place

That is actually the meaning of my rejected set too. Yes I am in between husbands or boyfriends as the case may be but it is also more symbolical- shedding the black, opening the black curtains and stepping into the light. Being me.
