I just made the ugliest arrow ever. The fletchings are so mangled it hurts to look at. ugh.
But it's my first arrow ever. Hopefully the next one will turn out a touch better.
I also made a bowstring. I don't even know what the twine I made it out of is, but It hasn't snapped on me yet. This is for the fiberglass recurve bow that I got for 10$ at a second hand store. i have no idea what it draws, but I've been anchoring it at my shoulder, given that the distance between my shooting hand and my chin is about three feet. 28" draw my right testicle. I don't even want to think of what it would cost to get someone to make me a left handed bow that draws fifty pounds at thirty four inches. The thing would be fucking huge.
