It has most definitely happened to men as well as women. In my experience, however, women don't really expect all men to look like Brad Pitt. Men sometimes have unrealistic expectations of women, though. Of course, my perspective is biased.

Equality between the sexes? Dude, women are better mechanics, doctors, lawyers. They have all the power, but give it their man. Abortion has little to do with equality. unless you're talking about making the world an even 50/50 split boys/girls. Let's assume that a guy wants to get a girl pregnant, and to make sure slices a hole in his condom. Assuming he's using a condom, one of the reasons is so she doesn't get a bun in the oven. So in this scenario, she's gonna get pregnant whether she wants to or not (sounds pretty equal so far...not!). She gets pregnant. Now, with abortion being legal she has the right to go get one without telling the guy (remember, he wants the kid). Again there isn't any equality here. He can claim to know that she's pregnant and want her to go to counseling with him, but unless he can prove it... he's stuck.
The flip side, of course is that its her body and she can do what she wants. If abortion were illegal, she would be forced into having that kid. Sure, she could give it up for adoption if she doesn't want it, but of course women tend to become emotionally attached to something that they've carried for 9 months or so. You can pick up 308 stainless rivets off of ebay usually. I recommend two piece rivets as they're easier to set, lay flush so as not to cut, and look nice, but that's me. 308 is old surgical grade. You're not going to find 316, but if anyone has an allergy to 308 they really should just remove their genes from the pool anyway. Anyone that sensitive to nickle has got problems.
