Man, I was so industrial today. Combat boots, big heavy weight OD green denim cargos that are ripped and patched to hell, pockets bulging with tools and phones and music players. stained grey muscle shirt, brown leather jacket five sizes too large, big black leather gloves, and my rising sun motorcycle goggles. Three days growth of beard. I could pass myself as an extra in...

I made it home. Eight hours of driving, woo.

I'm going to go sit on my porch eating icecream and watching the fair traffic stream by.
parks:
I made it home too!

hurray for being home!
mutiny:
throw deepfried babies at the fair traffic. they'd enjoy that.

glad to see you're home safe.

I had zombie dreams last night. Incompetent survivors + dream logic + lack of firearms means no survivors. However it was not a nightmare in any wise. It was just what was going on.

And admittedly before everyone got holed up in the large and poorly defended warehouse there was a point where I had two swords and that resulted in a lot of death.

nevermind. car is kinda dead. have fun.

I don't reccomend staying up til all getout the day before an eight hour road trip, but I did it anyway because I am totally diptarded. I'mago brush my teeth, then I'ma sleep til 11. Then I'ma hop the shower and get all cleanshaped, and check my maps twicewise for assurance. Then I'ma hop the Tank and make heel to toe for Wisconsin.

When it...

I'm back in town.

I'm not in a particularly good state of mind, alternating between feeling generically okay about things and fits of hysterical potential.

Shit is going to be got together, though.

I'm going to Wisconsin tommorow. I'm going to drive four hours to somewhere called Rhinelander, pick up a couch, then drive for four hours back. Why? I don't really know.

Does anyone...

Mr. Francis Jeremy Taylor died in the year two thousand ninety four, at the age of one hundred and ten . At the time of his death he was widely regarded as the foremost expert on the phenomena of aging. He is widely attributed to have been the instrumental driving force behind the perfection of the artificial virus that 'cures' aging by permanently altering the...

Dexter grins, crouches, and pulls a pair of short, straight swords from sccabards belted at each hip.

Sinister wrinkles her lip and draws a long, thick rapier with a double ring hilt. Her right hand already holds a poniard, single ring hilt, as long as her forearm.

Dexter wastes no time. He leans into the first stride, his body tilted forward at an unlikely angle...

For the record, and solely for the record, if you ever suspect me of murder find the nearest swamp, bayou, or peat bog. Dig around until you find a layer of quick lime six foot by three foot and one foot deep. You won't find a body, but your suspicions will be confirmed.

With that cheerful thought firmly in mind PRock and I are apparently...

Hey folks. I'm going to make a blue and white striped mask, don a zoot suit, cape, and fedora, then fight crime as 'The Pinstripe. Alternate names include 'The Stripe', 'The Skunk', and 'Contrasting Horizontal Band Boy'.

Secondly, I think it would be funny to make luchadore masks for all the SG Burlesque girls to be given them when they pass through the Twin Cites....

Wow. I was going to respond to this like 4 hours ago, but then I got sidetracked first in Aardvark's journal and then in so many other places on the site... SO.. ahem..

I like the caped crusader idea. I especially love the SG Lucha idea for the burlesque show - but we'd have to hurry (decide on a design, get funding and someone like you are better to actually make the masks)! 2 months goes by very fast in my little world.

What is the time frame that the old stories you are reading, as in do you know when they were first written? Allah is a name older than spit, but Muhammed used the name in 600 A.D. to describe the christian/judean god and to help in converting the non-muslim people into the tight-knit group. If stories like the Tale of the Roc are older than 600 A.D., then you may notice the reason why people were drinking. It is Islam that forbids drinking, not their culture.

While I have no formal training, I'd be willing to claim that I am a psychiatrist and take your dad's money... and actually sit and discuss your mind wanderings with you. In junior high school the class bullies would constantly consult me with their personal issues, asking my advice regarding their girlfriends, etc. (I had not even talked to a girl at that time let alone date one yet) and I'd give them advice that worked. So I think I've got a little experience, plus I've seen psychiatrists/psychologists before and there really isn't much to it... its mostly finding someone that you pay to listen to you that isn't going to blab everything to anyone else. I can do that. I do that every day. I rarely talk about anyone else, and then its only how their experiences relate to me. I never really state who I'm talking about. miao!!

don't you know what happens to Hamline students who take a semester off?

they spend their few months away, realize how entirely shitty Hamline actually is, and are gone forever, leaving the rest of us suckers in the dust. and if you leave, it's pretty much certain that the only people left on campus will be total douches who don't know a good manifesto of ancient-apocalyptic-communist-zombie-ninja-art when they see one.

but hey, whatever.

I'm in New Jersey, of all places. Heading down to the beach tommorow to feel silly, awkward, lonely, and cut off from my generation. Also, jump around in the water like a loone.

At some point after that I'm going to go back to Philly, and who knows what will happen then.
parks:
yep, that was the plan

new Jersey? that ain't right.

I have a friend from Philly staying with me this week. Captain Insane-o. word to your mother.

I just moved about half of the people on the zombie squad forums from the 'People who will survive the zombie apocalpyse' category to the 'Meals on Wheels' category after reading all six pages of their discussions on melee weapons.

First of all, the fuckers need to learn how to throw a wrap shot. A wrap shot involves swining your sword horizontally over your head...

How bout a bo staff? Range if necessary, plus much more balanced and lighter to wield than a heavy metal war hammer or halbert.

Large caliber hand guns can be quite useful too. If you use ammo sparigly enough.

today I was at the doctor getting blood drawn from my arm. At first the nurse tried my left arm with no sucess, she poked around the vein a bit trying to get the blood out but it just wasn't happening.

The nurse then decided she would have to use the right arm. She cleaned the area, stuck in the needle, and attached the collection tube. This time the blood squirted out in copious amounts. She even pressed on my vein with her finger causing the blood to leave my vein with even more force.

just thought I'd share tongue

Okay. There are two Franks. More accurately, there are two Ryans, because I'm really Ryan and Frank is more or less a coping mechanism. Eitherway, there are two of me.

Business mind, and Animal mind.

Eitherway... I was going to go into a complicated discussion of how I can want two contradictory things at the same time by virtue of these two divergent thought processes,...
