oh guys i had the worst saturday night ever!
it was supposed to be so lovely. it was our works xmas dinner and we had booked and ordered our meals a week in advance (a nice treat for the staff, or so i thought). it was supposed to be everyone who works with us, their partners and a few regular customers/ mates. four people dropped out, one being heavily pregnant and her partner, then two others as their babysitter fell ill. then dawnii who works with us was booked in for a tattoo in london, they got started 3 hours late so she missed dinner too!
we should have given up then but no! my other friend turned up late and with some strange woman in toe- who wasn't invited. after about one minute i realised he was off his head on pills!! fucking great, i don't know how he ate his diner but he did! i was so worried he was going to be sick or something. then his ladyfriend spent ages going "oooh, does that go right through....oooh, doesn't it hurt... oooh, how wierd" to all my piercings. turns out she was a drug dealer too so "if anybody needs anything!" NEEDS ANYTHING, WHAT I NEED IS TO HAVE A NICE XMAS MEAL AS PLANNED!!! the words A TIME AND A PLACE spring to mind.
just when i thought the evening couldn't get worse i noticed my pilled up friend was staring over the table at another guests cleavage and he wasn't being subtle! he spent ages whispering to the drug dealer saying it was putting him off his dinner (he's gay) and trying to take a photo. i told him not to take a picture hoping he would get the message and not long after that he left before dessert! the girl with the boobs ( which i have to say looked fabulous) came back in after having a cigarette and wouldn't take off her coat. i didn't think she had noticed but she was really upset. after that we went to a club but we were all pissed off and went home quite early. that turned out much better and i got hamered with alwaysbeingblue and kogii that is my favourite time of the night, getting hammered and listening to cool music, chilling out.
i wish i had told him to sod off but i hate offending people. but he was out of order and if i had done that he wouldn't have offended our other friend (and her boyfriend) and we wouldn't have had such a bad night.

today has been much better, my pregnant friend who could't make it to dinner had a baby girl this morning and i have been over to visit my family for a nice tea.

hope this week goes ok, i still have a lot of xmas shopping to do and xmas cards to write!
