I was amazed at some of the rejected SG sets. I sent in an application and am in that second stage. I'm still going to turn in a set but I'm actually blown away at some of the hotness that just plain gets rejected. Maybe it has to do with a lack of a certain edge or quality. Anyway, I think it's still worth it to try tho.

No word on Lewis. I'm actually kinda scared to go to the pound to see if he's there, 'cos what if he's not. What's really sad about it is how we got him.

One night, there were four kittens crossing this busy two lane road we were on about a year ago. A couple was trying to gather them up and stop traffic. We stopped for them and it happened so quickly, I wasn't able to hit my hazards for oncoming traffic... instead I hit the brights a bunch of times. But the car on the opposite side didn't stop. Two kitties had just crossed the road and as we watched, one of them got hit. My husband rushed over and picked the injured one up, long enough to see the "thanks" in his eyes and then its eyes went blank. He put this kitten in the bushes. It was just awful. In the meantime, I was trying to get the other two who were on our side of the road. The other couple couldn't take the remaining three so we did. We kept the two boys and a friend eventually adopted the girl. Lewis and I were buds... his brother Marcus misses him. I miss the lil fugger dammit.
