ive never done a blog before, but Chris recomends it so it must be a good thing.
I guess this has 2 purposes, one to say a hello to SG.... Hello
and second, i guess you'll all just have to suffer through reading about the woe that is me.
that said, i happened to have the best day today. both my bands played at a band comp called 'upstep' its for a charity called the tabitha foundation and the main prize is worth a tidy $6,000.
anyway, they really liked 'starfish hill' who played earlier in the day, then a little later on my other band 'the magic hands' played... who the judges thought were awesome.... one of the judges came down to talk to us after we got off stage and said we were definatly the best act so far on the day... He ownes a production company, is a jazz singer and has just finished writing a new song. He said he was so impressed with our performance that he wants to bring us in to the studio to do the music for his song! we were blown away
the comp has about 13 bands in it over 2 days, and the top 6 go through to finals later on in the year, so were hoping for the best............................... after that my day was nice and boring
it turns out blogs aren't that hard to do... ill have to leave another soon
