the moon disappeared for a little while last night, where i live, i wonder if you could see it, probly not. that's sad

like i said, alot more has happened in the past 8 months...

friends going crazy(seriously), cat dying, her mother dying, edie diagnosed with cancer, one of my good friends in a terrible car wreck, another of my friends laid off just after she found out she was pregnant, hmmmm, what else?
work has been a bitch since august.... so needless to say my life has been a bit more hectic than usual throughout all this red head stuff... and as of right this minute, i don't know where me and her stand, but since i haven't spoke to her in a month and haven't seen her for over a month... i'm figuring it's pretty much a done deal.

as far as vutek.... he's a kook, but keeps me smiling.

i was feeling good. i would have liked you in my arms last night.

i was open to just about anything last night, but too tired for movies. i would have fallen asleep. you'd have been nuzzling MY shoulder. or cuffing me upside the head to wake me up.

that last kiss was a message i bailed on.

the big kitty is Buster (or just Big Kitty). he sleeps on his back all the time. dumb as a stick. his sister is Boo-Boo (or just Little Kitty). stings, shoelaces and rubber bands aren't safe anyplace in my house.

Thinking about Christmas, ARRRGGH! Too soon and yet, knowing myself, not soon enough. What I really need is to wake up, think I have only 3 days to go till Christams, run around and get everything done, but have it really be Thanksgiving instead. Call it a variation on the setting your clock back an hour syndrome!

OH oh! The hotel where they filmed the shining is about 45 minutes away from here. I have no idea why I've never visited it... but it'd probably be not quite all that exciting. Still standing. A great place for weddings, apparently. And a fine line between clever and creepy.
I went bowling last night, in a perfectly normal bowling alley. I think if you combine the scores from all of my games, I might have broken 100... but I'm not sure. I wasn't on any drugs though, so I never actually found myself INSIDE the bowling ball. Ahh, I love that movie.

the ship is the ship and anchor. it's a pub but all the people that work there are tattooed rocker kids. it's pretty sweet.

I was lost on the 2nd level I think... because I could hear people underneath me. I hope they were party goers!

On the school thing.. I had a friend that was getting his master's... did everything up to the thesis. Then paid for 2 years of school while he decided he didn't want to finish yet. He wasn't ready. He delivered pizza and lived the "nightlife". Then one day.. he had to finish. And he did...

when you said from "my dad's cd" it made me wonder why franandzooey's dad would be listening to ELO. see, my parents are 70. doing a little math though, i figure you're just 1 year too old to be MY daughter. now i understand dad's music tastes.

the ELO album is "Time" from 1981. if you put on track 1, "Prologue," you'll hear at the backwards music at the beginning--it sorta sounds like backwards voices. i checked the CD--there's no hidden track and it's been edited out of Prologue."

my first album i ever bought--halfsies with my older sister--was the Beatles' Hard Day's Night. the year it was released! how's that for old? my second album was Bridge Over Troubled Water.

When I was a senior high school and in early college, me and buddies would go to Sunset Bowl in Waukesha, WI. there were two bands out of illinois--trying to make it big--that would play there weekends. REO Speedwagon and Cheap Trick. saw them live in a bowling alley bar at least a dozen times each!
