williamj reminded me that I didn't post how my B-day party went. I had a get together at my bf's grandma's house. His brother in law made ceviche for me, it's seafood with onions, cilantro and other good stuff and you can eat it on tostadas or with tortilla chips. Also we had pozole (soup with hominy and pork) and pizza. It was mostly my bf's family that attended. Everyone had work the next day except me of course so I got drunk on Gin and diet 7UP and when we got home we stayed up watching 'It's always sunny in Philadelphia" and "Bonnie and Clyde".
The next day I went to see my friends band 8-Bit at Mr.T's in Highland Park. It was cool...right off the bat I saw my buddy Victor and my friend LeFrost and a few friends I haven't seen for awhile. I even got a B-Day shout out when 8-Bit went on stage! I was hung over from the night before so we didn't stay that long but I had a good time anyway and I got to wear my new 'puss 'n' boot' slouch boots that I am totally in love with! Anyway I had a lot of fun and...bein' 30 ain't no thang!
