I'm listening to a very fuzzy web-broadcast of a speech by Arundati Roy about anti-nationalism, and I have 2 girl scout cookies left in my box of Samoas, and tomorrow is my little bro's birthday and I have nothing to give him, but I'm not really worried about it because I know he doesn't want anything...

Tonight I party with Rocky people; because we've all finally realized that what's really missing from this year's production is the friendships that are usually made in Rocky...

I think we're actually going to have a good performance this semester, now that things have calmed down; again, it's going to be April 17th, 18th, and 19th, at the Gallileo theater at Harvey Mudd, at 10pm those nights... maybe i'll post it on the SGLA board

Has anyone ever heard of Lydia Davis? I had never heard of her before, but I'm reading her novel "The End of the Story" for a class, and she's actually really cool; the novel is trippy because it starts at the end, and throughout the whole thing she's having this philosophical thing go on where she's considering the order in which a novel goes, compared with one's memory of time, and the human experience of time, etc. We watched the movie Memento in conjunction with reading the book, as another narrative which tells a story by starting at the end...

and I got offered a summer job!! working here at the schools, so I'll be available for sgla goodness
