well, here i am in the "other" p-town-- the central CA valley-oriented one... a lil tipsy now and lookin to get my bearings and such... would luv to come to LA LA Land for new years 04 but... well... that may or may not work out... might be that i might have to settle with going to that same gay bar in fresno for our new year's festivities... same one every year.. hell, same one every weekend from what i hear from my friends down heere. there used to be 2 gay bars in fresno; on the same street no less. but one got shut down... the 18-and-over one... that shut my friends down for a while. they shut it down on a new years eve in facct... cops confiscated everything all the way down to the fog machines. wierd tho that is. still don't know why they shut it down, peiople said it had to do with the dj sellin drugs during his shift or ssomething. doesn't matter much. left us out in that fresnan-almost-snow that new years, with my friends too young to get into the only other gay bar in the valley--- in fact, half the valley too young to get in, it seemed; i remember that new years, all these little queer kids standin around in their sparkles and polyester, shivering, dissallowed from the one remaining scene... that was ok tho, we had dennys as the only other place in fresno that would let us in... fucking fresno...
well, this year we're all fucking of legal drinking age and theres nothing that's gonna prevent us from partying in that bar... unless it gets closed down too lol
... if that happens, we'll just do what we did that year... drive back to porterville, do the countdown to my watch, and get plastered at some crackhead's place where they've snorted up the remaining xmas decorations. it's a wonderful life, baby...
