Not saying the US is aces, just saying that the grass isn't always greener just because it's on the other side.
And my recommendation is that wherever you go, say fuckitall and move to the largest city you can. If you're looking at city sizes as rungs of a ladder, you'll really be wasting your youth as it were. Big cities have a lot to offer. Feeling a bit lost at times and dealing with the struggles are small prices to pay for cosmopolitan living and diversity and the wealth of life experiences you can score along the way. So there. Again, take that for what you will - I know that ultimately the decision you make will be the right one for you, and that nobody can make it for you.

no, of course it's not paid; art jobs don't exist anymore, and people paying other people to learn art DEFINATELLY doesn't exist anymore.

the closest to making money this'll get me is that i'll possibly be able to sell some of the stuff i make there...
and so far it's been mosaic, but we're going to be doing stained glass, some blowing.. (ha ha-- blowing ya for die-hard immaturity)
... i don't even care that it's not paid anymore... i have no goddamn skills and NOTHING i know how to do is worth shit in this world/economy anymore. I'm waiting to hear back from starbucks and borders and that'll probably be until september when i hear back from them anyway. sooner or later i'll try and teach myself html so i'll have something that'll REALLY allow me to sell my soul and get funds back... but until then... eh, who needs to eat everyday, anyway?
