So, Mr Bungle broke up. Damn. That's one problem with not liking any new music; one day all my favorite bands will have broken up. I think all that's left out of what I'd call favorites are Portishead, Low, TMBG & The Faint. (And when was the last time Portishead did anything?)

Anyway, there was a sale at the bookstore today, and I got Neil Gaiman's Two Plays for Voice for, like $6, and an 18-cassette, 27-hour-long, unabridged Robert Jordan book-on-tape for $8. Also, more Xmas shopping.

The company I work for is amazing. They had a catered meal today (ham, green beans, potatoes, stuffing, rolls, dessert, tea) completely free to us. Plus, for all who RSVP'd, we got a fleece blanket just for having done so. That, plus all the other amazing stuff (benefits, $20/month phone bill, 2.5x holiday pay...) makes me happy. I had a fellow tell me he was so happy with us as a company that he would get us half off tickets to DisneyLand (maybe I mentioned that yesterday? I'm too lazy to check) any time.

My head is effing killing me, and I know it's because of my neck. I need a massage like ouch.

I showed up to my family's Christmas party today drunk. I don't think anybody noticed.
