The ups, the downs... just another day.
I spent a long day with an incredible girl yesterday, and gained a better understanding of why I like her, as well as why she and I cannot be dating right now. It seems as though I should feel bad over it, but I don't, because I had a great day.
It was her brother's wedding. I returned home from Chicago Friday night and called out sick from work yesterday so I could attend (subsequently, I called out today because I was exhausted from being crazy busy over the past 5 days). It was my favourite wedding ever. The ceremony + the reception + the dinner afterwards totaled to seven hours.
This upcoming week should be interesting... A) I'll be going back to work tomorrow, and it's possible I'll lose my job, since I'm fucking up my attendance; B) tomorrow night a friend and I will unveil our plans to move to another town, and hopefully my current roommates will come with; C) Tuesday morning, I fly to Vermont, where I will see beautiful leaves and sleep on the couch of my ex and her boyfriend (I didn't realize she had a boyfriend until after I'd accepted the invitation to come visit her; that changes things a bit); and D) on Thursday I'll be looking for a new job (even if I don't get sacked tomorrow, there is a particular job I'd prefer).
I'm looking for ways to cut costs and it's crossed my mind to cancel my SG account...however I've been a member so terribly long, and it's not all that expensive in the first place...
