I had a good time going to Mae's and meeting some of the local SGers. It had been tough trying to meet anybody local online (no one is ever on chat), so the event was pretty much a make-or-break for my membership here. I'm definitely staying, unconditionally. Now if only I could figure out what to do about getting internet service at home. $55/month for Comcast is just too much for me, even with a few "special" months at $30.
Anyway, my dad is coming in to SeaTac in just a couple of hours and staying for two weeks so I'm going to be happily distracted from here for a while. Hopefully he can get help me get my place fixed up, or at least so I can turn my dishwasher on without water shooting out everywhere.
