When I last had internet at home it had jumped up from around $43 to around $51 a month. Now that I'm looking at it again, they want over $60 a month for it. As they get more subscribers to drive cost per user down and the tech gets cheaper, the rates go up. Fuck'em.
Does anybody have any better ideas than Comcast? I'd be a much more active SG personality if I had internet at home, however I don't feel like getting taken up the ass by a monopoly. I don't mind if it's a bit slower if it's cheaper but I'm not sure I want to go back to dial-up types of speeds and I hear internet via cell phone isn't much better.

Get a directional wifi antenna, and mooch off a neighbor.
