It truly is the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. Blimey. I have to say I wasn't expecting the hoop-la that resulted and I hang my head in shame.
Only now I say it does the guilt come sleeting down on me. I knew... I knew that all that was going on was that SGUK were checking me out. It wasn't me who said clique. I don't know who did but I have come to hate the word. It does sound evil and mean spirited. I didn't think there was a clique.
Or at least...
I think what looks liek a clique from outside is just some close knit mates on the inside. The more people you've got in your crew the more difficult it is to keep track of those outside it. That's not a clique that's just the limits of perception. I seem to have unleashed uncalled for demons here... opened the can of worms...
Apologies to those whose life I have made more unnecessarily difficult. Not the best start.

When I joined up I did wonder about the clique element, but there isn't one with SGUK's... just a desire to keep out tossers from meet-ups, etc.
come along to the film night on Aug 1st.. the last one kicked arse.
but the entertainment industry group.. now there's a clique.. I'm not enough of a celeb for that one..
like most of the long-established groups on SG we can seem clique-y to the uninitiated. i for one didn't take offence at the post or calling it the c-word.
