Thanksgiving weekend was great! My GF and I headed out towards Kamloops BC late Friday. We ended up staying the night in a little mountain town called Valemount, and managed to snag a room with a jacuzzi, which was a god send. The next day we continued our drive towards Kamloops and stopped when we saw salmon runs on the way (took some cool photos)... a few hours later we arrived at my friend's place and then we went for an x/c ride up bachelor heights, and I was pleased with my climb, it's a hard 45 minute ascent...but a quick 10 minute descent through open desert mountain terrain...unfortunately I dislocated my shoulder again, right near the bottom (in the gully)... I slid in some sand, layed the bike down and my arm just popped out... so I spent 4hrs in the hospital before they popped it back in...and then I came down with a cold, it sucks I can't even tie my shoes and my nose keeps running. But at least we had a great thanksgiving dinner... and we managed to go for a hike in Gray-Wells Provincial park on the way back...overall, a pretty damn good weekend! It was great to see one of my best friends and I really am in love with my GF
