Man oh man... summer holidays suck... cause all you do is spend money you don't have... well... I'm sick and tired of being broke, and busting my ass... teaching just doesn't pay the bills, if I were payed hourly I'd own a home by now and I'd have my student loans payed off... but I'm on salary... and with the price of housing here in Alberta, I'll never get ahead, not if I want to start a family with my gf.

So there you have it, I've come to a crossroads... it is time for me to give up my secure salaried job and take a risk... it's off to the oilfield or construction industry for this cowboy... why should high school drop outs be making triple the salary that I make and only work half the hours... I live in bizarro world... hopefully I'll hear back from someone within the next fortnight, then I can officially quit my job and move on...
