If I hadn't made it clear before, the Intonation music Festival is this weekend in Chicago. Saturday and Sunday from 1-9 some great indy acts, I could get into it but you can check it out yourself. If you're in the area you should go.

Things are quiet other than that, spend most of my days looking forward to the weekend. It's finally raining here which means fun times at the dogpark. Tex loves puddles, it always puts him in an acrobatic mood.
Then the wedding on the 24th. First friend to get hitched. At the bachelor party it's our duty to give him shit for getting married, but beneath it all we crave that kind of stability. I'm sick of dating really, how nice it would be to meet Her. To have one thing absolutely solid, even if it does take a hell of a lot of work, it's a lot of love. We're a lot of jealousy.

ive seen all those movies, and have always had respect for him as an actor, this movie just made me want to do him, i was trying to put it gently, i thought the shortcommings pf the movie lay in the directing and not the acting...too many stero types and weird racial commentary.

yeah i didnt think about the fact that they might be basing it more on the book than the last movie, but i still found it somewhat offensive that they dumbed it fdown so audiences would get the major themes of the movie, the book m ay have been for children but the movie and its thmese are definatly an adult thing. we could go in this for days, its sch an interesting movie both in a good way and in a bad way, i didnt mind the music, i laughed whenever it came on, only because it was hillarious, but not because it was exceptional.
