Friday night there's a bunch of us piling into pickups and driving to the dirt tracks in Farmer City to watch some good ole car racing. Should hear a lot of "Do it fer Dale!" I love rural culture it's really entertaining shit. Also a huge fan of demolition derbies. Cars smashing into each other, smoke, flames, roaring engines, mullets everywhere I can't wait for the county fair to get here, that's a hot date lemme tell you.

Had a good night of hanging out with this girl friend last night. We hooked up months ago and we've known each other since highschool. But, we've gotten past the I want to shove my tongue down your throat stage and are now just buddies who can be together for 5 hours at a time and not realize how quickly time is going by. I like it when I have mature friends like that.

Still trying to plan a move, have to get a job lined up first. Now I'm flirting with moving to NY, I would be satisfied with Chicago but the really great food is in NY. So, I have to find my way into Prune. This chef just has the same approach to food I do, very pure, simple, elegant, powerful and fresh. I've never worked for a woman chef either. I think that would be a lot of fun. i tend to get a long woth women better than men, but I'm working on my male relationships. There's just something naturally easier for me when it comes to women. We'll see, it's a big if and when but I'm working on it.
