another weekend gone and one to look forward to, did some canoeing with some friends, took Texas (my dog) at first I thought it was going to be a major pain in the ass but he was really good in the canoe and was so happy to run around in the river and just be the most adorable pooch, unfortunately my friend (Lee) was supposed to bring his dogs too, well we got there and his dogs were very excited, of course, I thought I would let one of them off the leash so Tex and she (Emma) could play a little easier, apparently Lee doesn't let emma off the leash unless there's a fence, he flipped out and screamed at me, then just screamed really loudly, I apologized immediately, it wasn't like emma dissapeared, she was easy to find and it could have been squashed quickly, anyway, i think lee was emabarrassed so he left right after an hour and a half drive, he just left his girlfriend there and went right back home, on the way to his car he slipped and fell in the mud, that might have sealed it.
oh well, he missed out, we canoed then had an impromptu BBQ afterwards capping off a pretty lovely weekend.

word. oh, that's another thing. i hate how we are fucking up the environment with our stupid cars, so instead of just not driving & instead taking public transit or biking or skating or whatever we already had to back us up, we invent these hybrid cars, which still use gas & energy & are still wasteful. i wish car companies would reconsider their goals & invest in public transportation instead. then also there would be less roadways & more room for nature & stuff. ah man, i'm such a damn hippy. but that shit will never happen anyway.
