the meal was average, that's what happens I s'pose when you start cooking at 9:40 and working in somone elses kitchen (limited). The sauce was great, the crostini were incomplete sans almonds due to a friends oversight, no problem, but they would have been better. the Morrels, not bland, but not real flavorful mushrooms. I will have to prepare them differently next time, I think a brown butter sauce would be better with maybe some parsnips and some mustard seeds. Maybe a white flaky fish.
yard work complete, now all I need to do is pray for some rain, the grass needs to grow, then a fence, then my dawg can run around freely!! yay
lesbian birthday party this Friday if anyone is in Champaign, Illinois this weekend, lot's of mexicans and dancing, my friends girlfriend is mexican and works at El Torro, should be shit tons of fun, we're making a "fur pie" and some booby cakes, she should get a kick out of it.
