I've been slightly worthless most of the weekend, the tournament has me transfixed. I know a lot of people probably don't appreciate the sport, or respect sports in general because professional athletes are overpayed and
undeservedly idolized. I think these things are true. However, I think there is so much beauty and artistic expression involved with being an athlete and so much that can be appreciated by observing a spectacular performance. Also, in a tournament setting like the NCAAs there is the ever loved concept of David vs. Goliath, the possibility that a smaller school can take down a power house. There's a lot of heart involved.
I did however get some painting done in the dining room. I can't wait to see how this paint dries. It's a very light green on a dark grey slightly blue trim. It sounds crazy but looks dope. I'll put up pictures when it's done.
Back to work tomorrow to finagle some vacation time. I gotta get outta here!!
