I use a variety of tattoo machines in my studio. I have a few FK Irons rotary machines and a pen-style machine. The pen feels much more natural to hold and has really good weight distribution and the FK rotary machines are nice and quiet with very little vibration. I like to use my Bishop rotary machine for lining because the needle motion is straight up and down with no rotation in the needle.
For Inks, I use a variety of different inks. I prefer solid inks as they are highly pigmented and produce vibrant colours. There are so many choices of black ink so I keep 4 or 5 in stock at all times! I also keep a stock of UV inks that glow under black light. I've done some really cool accents on tattoos that are invisible unless you're in the club.
I want to get german Sol Terra by Cheynne for my next machine! Collect them all!
