Whew! Busy weekend.
I had expected to stay in this weekend and catch up on some chores and projects, but all these fun and exciting plans came up at the last minute, and I couldn't turn them down.
Yesterday I ended up spending most of the day at the Foo Fest, an all-day block party outside of AS220. A good friend of mine bartends there, and she was singing in the variety show earlier in the afternoon, so I showed up at like 1:30. As I was getting ready, I called the Rocket Scientist on a whim and told her about the event, and she said, "Oh good! I was looking for something to do today." So we met up and hung out for a couple of hours.
I ended up buying a bunch of new graphic novels, and Rocket Scientist bought a tshirt patch that says "Brains are Sexy." (It's so truuuuuuuue!)
Later in the night, I ran into propbos there, which was pretty awesome. He's an awesome guy. I had met him once before, back when I worked in the club, but it was nice to see him again.
Then me and my best friend, Lauren, swung by Waterfire. It was crowded, but nice. I hadn't been in like two years, so I was happy to go.
Now I'm off catch the Order of the Phoenix matine with some friends of mine. Yay! Hopefully when I get home, I can salvage some of the productivity of this weekend.
Ok, my goals for tonight:
1. Do a load of laundry.
2. Work on my e.e. cummings wallpaper.
3. Work on the chess set I'm making for the scooter shop.
4. Take out the trash.
5. Tidy my desk and my nightstand.
6. Take photos of my bedframe for Craigslist.
7. Hit the supermarket.
8. Cook my lunches for the week.

Oh! I wrote an e.e.cummings poem on my wall! It's 'i like my body when it is with your body'. So fitting for a bedroom. My room is more than that but I think the poem over my bed makes that part of the room so much more completely a bedroom. lol Brains ARE sexy. Glad you're havin so much fun! And do elaborate, in your blog, about the wallpaper because like bringherheart I am totally curious.
