Ugh, life is stress. I'm running out of money. I still don't have a job.
I do have a very good prospect. My friend's mom is an accountant for this business downtown, very near where said friend (and a second friend of mine) works, and she's hiring a secretary. The job would be a breeze, fair pay, benefits, and a good location. Not to mention getting to have lunch everyday with my friends AND getting to work with my friend's mom, who is apparently very nice.
I sent her my resume, and she told my friend that she was impressed, and that I sounded "very intelligent."
Anyways, I guess she has to show the resume to HER boss, but the boss has been away for the weekend since like Thursday. So I'm going to call her tomorrow and talk to her about it. Cross your collective fingers for me, SG.
