I had the best phone call ever today to my mom. It's a five or six hour time difference. and I was waking her up at about 9am with my call.
Mom: "There you are! I've been trying to get a hold of you all week."
Me: "Mm."
Mom: "How are you?"
Me: "...Ok."
Mom: "Did you get the package I sent you?"
Me: "...No."
Mom: "What's wrong?"
Me: "...Nothing..."
Mom: "What's WRONG?!"
(10 seconds of agonizing silence)
Me: "...I'm pregnant."
(5 more seconds of even more agonizing, shocked, bewildered silence)
Me: "APRIL FOOLS! Love you mom!"
Hehehe. That sure woke her up!
Mom: "There you are! I've been trying to get a hold of you all week."
Me: "Mm."
Mom: "How are you?"
Me: "...Ok."

Me: "...No."
Mom: "What's wrong?"
