No no, not being slow. It's kind of a physics thing but, in general with physics and math there is no such thing as a free lunch. Say you have a car that 1000 kg, one of those speed bump things thats half a meter high and it takes half a second to go over it (you figure it takes about the time to say bu-bump as it does to go over a speed bump, so half a second. If you work it out, that 1000*10*0.5 = 5000 Joules of energy and since it took half a second, that 10,000W or 10kW. The number they got in the article! The only problem is that you just spend your gasoline to create it in what is ultimately an inefficient process. They would be better off just to place an additional small tax on their citizens and make the power a more efficient way!
