Hey all (count=0),
More stuff to put in here. I'll be heading out, in a week for a week, to Salt Lake City. Fun stuff, get to hang with my cool aunt and uncle. They're the cool ones in the family, both lawyers. One teaches and is well know for conservation easement and the other started his own business in tax credit trading from conservation easements. Both like sushi (big plus in my fam) both ski/snowboard (uncle learned when he was like upper thirties, crazy!) both are health/outdoors freaks (same as me... to some extent). But since I'm gonna be up there, anyone wanna show me around? few bars some shows hiking? anything? The house'll be empty for the most part except for the dog and cats... and NO TV. I'm gonna go crazy for sure. Soooo pick me up for something, anything? I'll cook and clean for rescue from introspection!?
Been practicing karate so that even though I had to stop going since moving back to Wilson I can eventually test for my brown (next belt). Taking up kenjutsu for weapons training (still looking for a teacher in that one, but hey it's been something I've wanted to get into for a while). Drawing a bit, doing some woodworking to waste the time between job hunting. (yeah yeah the jobless wonder is living up to his namesake). But seriously? It's getting me down. I've had two call backs in the last month, TWO! And it looks like neither's goin to pay out. Get a chemical engineering degree? Now I can't even serve coffee. (yeah I haven't heard from Cup of Joe's either).
Traveling to Raleigh tomorrow, gonna check out a cabinetmaker friend's workshop. Maybe he could use some help? I dunno. But anyway. Yeah. Oh, it's was hot as fuck last week... and i was workign outside building a shower platform near the dock down at the house at Bath. HOOOOT. I was about to die. Even the water was hot. Anyway, someone from Utah IM me. Tell me a place that serves good sushi (eal, smelt row, octopus, conch, yellow tail, spider roll are my favorites!)
