Long time no see huh? Weeeell a little has happened: a little; not a lot. First: went to see Dave Mathews in Raleigh. (shutup, I LIKE DMB even if he is mainstream!) He rocks my socks, then does the jig on em... you know the one he does with his butt out and stuff. It was great. Got lawn seats and came two hours early = front row... on the lawn (shut up... I'm poor). Rock on bitches. Loved Watchtower.... again. Drive By Truckers, the opening band was pretty cool too. Kinda like some sorta country folk rock. Check em out. Oh, and lest I forget: It rained. A lot. I was soaked in jeans and loved everyminute of it. Didn't stop me from dancing and singing like the total spaz that I am. I am a cross between an upright epileptic seizure and a speed metal head banger that has NO RYTHM. I pitied the girls beside me the spectacle of discordant coordination they were forced to endure... at least I did after the concert while laying naked in my car after peeling off wet clothes as I waited till 1am for the lot to begin to move. Yes, it took that long.. the concert was over about 10:30 ish.
Another thing, if your drunk and try to crowd me, I will move you, forcefully if nessecary. Had some dude try to get in front of me; one of those frat boy idiots that you know I love with all hate humanly possible. Told him to fuck off and find another place to stand. I had an unrestricted view there after. You know what I hate about people? The inconsiderate arrogance.
Then on to Bath NC where I proceeded to indulge my pyromania and love of aquatic adventurism. It rained the first day... thursday... alot... again. Put off mowing the lawn till my brother got consripted to do it, for the first time ever I might add. I did some swimming, some clamming, some riding on the jetski (god DAMN that thing is fun). Then came sunday night: time to light some fire works. Pop went down to south of the border and got some mortars. Really nice ones. Me, my little bro, and some friends got to light em off. Four tubes + some sparklers = big display. Trying to set them off all at once is hard to do; they mortars are louder setting off than exploding but hey it was damn fun. Singed my nose, burned my thumb, and got hit in the head by debris. Good times, good times.
Now? Back to job searching. Put in the application to be a coffee boy at Cup of Joe's on hillsborough. (great coffee and interesting clientelle. I would love it there) Also, I'm trying to see if a friend needs some part time in the wood shop he built. He's a great guy and does some good pro work: has the same love for good tools that I do.
That's enough for now
