met his step-dad tonight. sat at a waffle house for about an hour & 1/2. did the "gettin' to know ya" thing.
it went pretty well. actually, he reminds me of my dad.
as for my sickness, well, that's pretty much gone except for the snottiness. not a big fan of the snottiness.
