ahem.....
so, he moved back down here today. the new one, not the old one. i don't know what the deal is with the old one. been ignoring his phone calls.
but the new one is here, in town. and we're going out with wendy tonite. it's funny. we both have ex-s we're trying to avoid. his hangs at the firehouse, mine at the soul bar. and those are the best places to hang out for people like us.
but neither of us really want to deal with the drama that's sure to be there, so, it's off to the metro instead. the metro's this cool idea, but since we have a huge medical college in town, all the little doctors-to-be and the chicks or guys who like that sort of thing have taken over the metro. it can get pretty bad, but there are some good people there too.
had a wierd dream.
i dreamt that i was walking along downtown, busy sidewalk, and somebody came up from behind me and gave me this bear hug. my initial reaction was not what it would be in real life in that situation. instead of bristling up, i sank into it, thinking it was someone other than who it was. and then he spoke to me. it was the ex. immediately, i tried to wrench myself from him, but he's a big boy, and he wasn't letting me go. so i got louder and louder. kicking and screaming. telling him to let me go. but he wouldn't. and normally there would have been at least one person that would try to break that up. but they all just stared at me. like they were watching TV or something. he did finally let me go, without terrible, horrible incident (sp?).
but that was just a wierd dream.......
