Happy muthafuckin birthday to me!!!
Another year, another number and that number would be 33.
Things are really crazy in my life these days. Recovery from my second knee surgery to being unemployed without any money is no joke. That shit will fuck wit yo brain.
But I did get an early birthday present yesterday. I finally got the job that I've been chasing for six months at the Macy's photo studio! It feels good to have a job that will help me advance in my career. The guy that I was in contact with was playing phone tag with me and I was over it, soooo over it. So I finally said fuck it and walked in there like the job was mine! It fuckin worked! I was holding out for this because I didn't want to get side tracked doing something else. I'm hard headed that way. The modeling agency job was the same way, I chased that for eight months. After thinking about it I realized that I got a full time position at the agency four years ago on my birthday and landed this job a day before my birthday four years later. It's hard holding out but it's well worth it. Lets see how much I learn at the studio. They have two giant warehouses, one with 11 studios with all the latest digital equipment and the other to store props. I plan to kick ass at that place.
Last Saturday I had a b-day party at my mom's house. A bunch of my closest friends came to party down with me. But I got a special suprise visit from my home girl April. She came all the way from L.A.. That was the best suprise birthday present EVER! I'm lucky to have the friends that I do. They have my back.
To all you folks in SGland have a beautiful day and drink one for the birthday boy.
