It's A Beautiful Day
On Thursday, my now former roommatess decided they can financially do without me and booted me from the apartment. I had two possible places to go, but I had to be out by Saturday.
I decided my best and most loved shot was MILO, an artist commune in the city of Columbus. I arrived there shortly after noon to meet with the residents there.
I. Am. In. Love.
The building, the people, the history, the plans for the community... it's all too wonderful to be believed. And the surprising part is, they WANT me there. They have some places coming up next month and I'm on the list for occupancy. It's an old school that's been converted into studio apartments for people in the arts.
In the meantime, I'm taking the spare room at my grandparents' house in Baltimore, OH. Other than suddenly being SEVERELY overfed ("No Grandma, if I eat anything more, I WILL explode"), things are fine. I start work at Verizon tomorrow, so things will be fine.
Love to you all!
BTW, I have Internet access here, obviously.

Hope all that works out for ya, sounds like it would be really neato to live there. In the meantime, enjoy the grandma's cooking!
