I didn't want to take down my post, but I suppose I'd better update.

Got a raise on my first day of my second job, as a subcontract labor person for Industrial Video in Gahanna. I was working in the Haggerty Building on OSU campus disassembling their Crestron-controlled AV players and putting them back together with security screws. LOTS of screws. I was making $8.50 an hour. They expected me to get three, maybe four done. I got all eight classrooms within my shift. So they changed my hire rate-of-pay from $8.50 to $12.00 an hour. That's right, a $3.50 raise on my first day. Not bad, eh?

Been playing Magic: The Gathering late nights at Tee Jaye's, when I'm off the clock. Work's gonna consense my job from Wednesday through Saturday to just Friday and Saturday, with the same amount of hours per week. So more days off, same pay and hours. Which definitely works for me. I'd rather have a couple long rough days than have it all spread out and make it harder to plan things.

All in all, things are pretty good.
